Title IX has significantly made progress toward improving accessibility of both education and sport to women in America. The size of American collegiate athletics is massive when compared to that of Canada. The NCAA has multiple divisions that denote spending habits and scholarship availability (among other things). In Canada, regardless of which sport is examined, there are no such divisions, and rarely more th an four regional conferences.
